Ford and Baidu to Begin Joint Project
On Wednesday, Ford Motor Company and Chinese company Baidu, commonly touted as“the Google of China“ announced a two-year strategy to further development of fully autonomous vehicles. The two companies plan on fitting Ford’s expertise in vehicles, with Baidu’s extensive study into the world of AI, to produce automobiles that would have the ability to navigate without a driver.
